Five Reasons to Purchase Organic Products
Organic food is grown without synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. They contain no genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or irradiated ingredients. They are not made with sewage sludge, industrial solvents, or any other chemical substances. During the course of its growth cycle, the natural environment of the food is protected from contamination. It is completely free from artificial preservatives, additives, and other harmful chemicals. There is no use of antibiotics or hormones. They are also produced in conditions that enable them to preserve their nutritional value, freshness, and quality for longer periods.
- Health benefits. Nonorganic produce is more chemically-laden than organic. It's therefore less likely that it will cause allergies and other sensitivities. You also consume fewer toxic substances and carcinogens.
- Eco-friendliness. Organically grown produce doesn't require synthetic fertilizer or pesticides. Organic farms are typically located far away form areas of high pollution and where conventional growth is difficult because it requires so much effort.
