Now love yourself and enjoy this one ...

The Greek yogurt frosting is so thick and creamy, you won't believe it's gluten-free and high in protein! It's great on so many things!

You've got it right!

Greek yogurt made into frosting.

You probably already knew that you could use Greek Yogurt in other ways than your funfetti protein oats. You may have even tried making a homemade spinach Greek yogurt spread (oh, how fancy!) Did you ever imagine that you could make frosting with it that was actually BETTER THAN the version without?

You'll believe me once you try it.

Greek Yogurt Frosting Ingredients

When I think about cupcakes or cakes, the frosting is what comes to mind. It doesn't matter if you use keto chocolate frosting or buttercream, the right frosting will make your cake even more decadent. This frosting is made with thick, rich, creamy Greek yogurt. You'll love it! You will need the following ingredients to make it:

  • Light Cream Cheese, at Room Temperature
  • Vanilla Greek Yogurt (or plain)
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Powdered sugar

Greek Yogurt Frosting

You're going to be amazed by how easy it is to prepare this delicious yogurt icing! This is a very simple recipe that can be made in just 2 steps! What happens when you mix a few simple ingredients? Smooth, creamy, and heavenly frosting. Pure bliss! How to make it:
Beat
Beat the cream cheese with the yogurt in a large mixing bowl using an electric hand-mixer on high speed until it becomes fluffy. Add the vanilla and continue beating until well combined.
mix
Add the powdered icing sugar slowly, until all the powdered icing sugar is added. Then, turn the mixer back to high speed and whip the frosting for 2 or 3 minutes until it is fluffy.
DEVOUR
It's that simple! Enjoy it how you like!

How to store Frosting

Don't throw away any leftover Greek Yogurt Cream cheese Frosting if you have made it to frost a cake. Save it for another day and enjoy it! Put your leftover frosting in an airtight jar and keep it in the refrigerator for up to one week. You can then use it whenever you like!

Plain Vs Vanilla Greek yogurt

You can mix and match ingredients to create delicious dishes in the kitchen. Try it with another flavor if you don't like vanilla greek yogurt, or if you prefer a different flavor. If you prefer coconut flavor, you can use plain greek yogurt. You may have to experiment with the amount of sugar you add.

Uses for Yogurt Frosting

You've just made some frosting, and you want to use it everywhere! You can and should! You can be creative in serving this frosting at a party, family gathering or wedding/baby-shower. Here are some ways to serve the delicious frosting.

  • Cake: Pipe an even layer on a dozen Gluten Free Cupcakes With Blueberries or Gluten Free Cupcakes Made with Carrot Cake.
  • Fruit: Stuff it into strawberries similar to Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries.
  • Breakfast: Drizzle it or spread on Almond flour Paleo Cinnamon Rolls or Easy Cinnamon Roll Protein Pancakes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is garlic used in Thai cooking?

Thai cuisine uses garlic. Garlic is used in Thai cuisine as an ingredient in salads, soups and stir-fries.

In Thailand, garlic can be chopped and fried along with ginger and shallots. It is also often eaten with sticky rice.

Garlic can be eaten in a variety of ways. This mixture is called "Nam Phrik" (namphrik). Nam Phrik is often served alongside grilled chicken, beef, or pork.

How to store your spices?

They should be kept out of direct sunlight and heat in an airtight container.

Place them in a dark cupboard to store spices for extended periods. This will ensure that they stay fresh and prevent any possible oxidation.

Store your spices in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. You can lose the aroma and flavor of your spice if it is near a heater or window.

Spices work best in an airtight jar or tin. If you are storing your spices in plastic containers, ensure there is no moisture.

As humidity can cause mold growth, it is important to check the seal before opening or resealing.

Don't throw out any spice leftovers. You can make use of them by adding them to your favorite dishes. They can be frozen to prolong their shelf-life.

Is it possible to add spice to a drink?

I love the way spices add flavour to food. But how do you make spices liven up when they are added to drinks?

Spices add a wonderful depth to any beverage. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to your favorite beverage, such as coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

However, most recipes call for ground spice so you will need fresh whole spices. While this makes sense, it is costly, takes time and requires storage space.

This is where magic happens. With some creativity, your favourite spices can be made into powdered forms that are easy to use. You can then mix the spices into your favorite beverages to make delicious spiced drinks.

These powders can be made in two ways. One method involves grinding whole spices into fine powder. One method involves using a mortar-and-pestle to grind spices into a finer consistency.

Whichever method you choose, you'll find that the resulting powder is much easier to measure out and store than whole spices. Powder also keeps well so you won't run dry.

Mixing different spices can create new flavors. You could make minty water by combining spearmint and peppermint. To make spicy ginger tea, you can also combine ginger and cardamom pods.

Once you are skilled in the production of powdered spices, it is possible to apply that technique to herbs. You can use basil, rosemary and thyme as common herbs.

There are so many possibilities. Powdered spices can enhance the flavor and texture of beverages, such as soups or salads, as well as the taste of pasta.

What is the difference between curried curry and curried curry?

There is no difference in spelling. Both words refer to the same thing: an Indian dish combining meat or vegetables with various seasonings.

Curry is derived from the Hindi word kari, which means "to rub". This refers to the way the spice mixture is applied to the food. Curry foods are usually cooked until golden brown.

Curried dishes are no longer reserved for special occasions. They're now commonplace in India. They include chicken, beef and lamb as well as fish, vegetables and rice.

Plain white rice is usually served with curried dishes. Another common accompaniment is raita, a yogurt sauce, and chutney, a sweet relish.

What's the importance of spices in your life?

A spice can be described as a seasoning to enhance flavour in food. Spices can take many forms such as powders (liquids), oils, pastes and seeds. They are also known as condiments and flavours.

Spicing up dishes is a great way to add variety to meals. You can spice up dishes with many different spices for more flavor and excitement.

You may find that adding a few drops of hot pepper sauce to a bowl of soup will make it taste more delicious. You could also add a few cayenne peppers to a cup of rice.

Fresh ingredients are best for experimenting with spicing. Look for organic dried herbs when you purchase them. Fresh herbs will last longer than dried.

There are certain spices that are essential for cooking. But there are also some you might want to avoid. If you have a history or liver disease, cinnamon sticks can be dangerous. Ginger also contains high amounts of coumarin. However, it is much more concentrated. It's safe for people who don't have a history of liver problems.

What's the difference between cooking whole and with ground spices? Ground Spices?

There is no difference between cooking whole spices and with ground spices. After harvesting, spices are ground. The quality is the same.

But the price gap is significant. Whole spices are more expensive due to the labour required for processing them. The flavor is well worth the effort.

If you purchase whole spices in bulk, you might get an additional discount. An example: If you buy an entire bag full of cinnamon sticks, you might get a discount.

This is true for cloves, ginger and cardamom. You may be able save money if you buy these spices in bulk.

Whole spices can also last longer than the ground spices. This is because ground spices lose their potency quickly due to oxidation.

We recommend buying whole spices because they add flavor to your recipes.

You can make a delicious curry by using whole turmeric in place of ground turmeric. For chicken dishes, whole coriander seeds can be ground to make a spice blend.

Additionally, spices need to be ground. When you buy whole spices, it makes sense to buy a large quantity. So that you don’t run out of spices, it’s a smart move.

What spices or herbs go best with potatoes?

A potato is a great side dish for almost any meat. There are many ways to cook potatoes, other than just mashed.

These versatile veggies can be used as a side dish in many dishes. Not only are potatoes great with spices, but so are many herbs and other seasonings.

These recipes will help you spice up your next potato dish.

Statistics

  • According to a recent survey, professional chefs and many home cooks use spices; usage has only continued to grow from 2011 to now. (hospitalityinsights.ehl.edu)
  • Their 14 to 20 percent essential oil content means that cloves have the highest concentration of aroma compounds of any spice. (masterclass.com)
  • It has been estimated that around 1,000 tons of pepper and 1,000 tons of other common spices were imported into Western Europe each year during the Late Middle Ages. (en.wikipedia.org)

How To Make A Garlic Press?

A garlic presse is an indispensable tool for home chefs. It allows you to efficiently mince garlic into a paste or puree it into a smooth sauce, soup, or salad dressing. It is great for crushing whole garlic cloves in a buttery spread, or garlic salt.

It's possible to be confused if you don’t yet own a garlicpress. These tips will help you get started.

First things first: you'll need a large bowl. Place the bowl below the press and pour in the crushed garlic. Set the pressure regulator valve at the maximum setting.

Next, turn your handle clockwise to hear a click. The top portion of the press should come off, revealing a flat surface. You can slide the blade across the bowl. Continue turning the handle counterclockwise until the blades close.

Finally, take out the pressed ginger and enjoy!

Here are some ways to make this versatile tool even more useful:

  • Garlic mince can be added to soups or sauces, salads or dips.
  • The press can be used to crush whole garlic cloves and make buttery spread.
  • Place whole garlic cloves in a pizza dough and crush them before baking
  • Blend roasted garlic into mashed potatoes or creamy polenta
  • Use the press for homemade pesto
  • Puree garlic and make a smooth dressing
