  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

What type of mustard can I use?

You can use any mustard that you like. Dijon mustard is good, but whole grain or spicy mustard will also work.

How can I make the sauce hotter or milder than it is?

Add more cayenne pepper if you prefer it spicy. But don't add too much, or the honey and mustard will be overpowered. If you want to go the opposite direction, simply reduce or skip the cayenne.

Is this sauce suitable for marinating meats?

Absolutely! This is a fantastic marinade for pork, chicken or tofu.

I store my dressing in a mason-jar for about 3 weeks. If you want to freeze some dressing, pour it into an ice-cube tray. You can then thaw each serving. Once frozen, place the cubes in an airtight bag or container. The cubes should last up to three months.
