We believe everyone has something extraordinary and delicious to offer their taste buds!

For now, love yourself and enjoy this one ...

Now love yourself and enjoy this one ...

This easy cheesy broccoli loaded cauliflower casserole will have your family loving vegetables! Low carbohydrate, sugar/gluten/grain free!

Repeat that 10 times quickly.

It's true. This is a MOUTHFUL title.

This is just a hint that you will want to eat a lot of this recipe. You WILL want to eat vegetables. Believe it.

Even the "veggie-hating" critters that you live around will be singing the low carb cauliflower broccoli song once this casserole hits their tastebuds.

I have no idea what it sounds like. Just FYI.

Anyway. You guys, this healthy broccoli casserole is REALLY RLY good. This is the kind of goodness that you think you will get when you decide that, HELLO, you are an adult and can eat anything you want for dinner.

But, like, it's actually healthy, and an ENTIRELY acceptable dinner choice because of VEGETABLES, and NUTRITION.

Cookies are still nourishing. They nourish your soul.

This recipe is not about meat.

This keto-loaded cauliflower has 3 things to make you say "Yah":

  1. There are only S-IX ingredients. It's not salt and peppa because, um, who doesn't have these things?
  2. There's bacon. Bacon is a sure-fire way to win everything good and delicious.
  3. It's a lot of cheese. Above is a list of all the delicious and good things.

You can also eat a HEATY protein-rich Greek yogurt to keep your muscles fueled and full. When I eat a veggie-packed meal, I know that I will be hungry approximately 0.056 minutes afterward. Greek yogurt can make this not so.

When making this easy cheesy cauliflower and broccoli casserole, you need to know a few KEY things.

  1. You might find it strange to roast the broccoli/cauli before adding any other ingredients. You are debating whether to skip it and simply throw raw vegetables with the other ingredients and stick it in the over.

Do not do this.

This is not the same as making a Cajun cauliflower tater-tots casserole, Rainbow cauliflower casserole or a chicken enchilada with cauliflower where a small amount of water would be no big deal.

Like in the Low Carb Baked Cauliflower Au Gratin recipe, the vegetables will release their water during cooking, and you'll end up with a puddley, swimming casserole.

  1. You're suspicious of the steps to remove moisture from roasted vegetables.

AGAIN. NO.

This will also result in a watery casserole, and you do not want that. It happened 6 times to me while perfecting the recipe.

In the FFF home, there was a lot soggy casserole. AVOID IT.

Last bossy point

Please use full-fat yogurt. No nonfat. This is due to the fact that nonfat yogurt has a high water content.

Bossy Taylor OVER. PHEW. You have been a great supporter.

This easy-peasy cauliflower recipe is perfect for you if you want to make yourself excited about eating things that come from the earth.

Loaded Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole Recipe

This casserole of broccoli, cauliflower and cheese is so good that it could be the star of your meal. It's the perfect combination of bacon, cheese and flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Bacon
  • 3 cups Broccoli cut into large florets, 180 grams
  • 2 1/2 cups Cauliflower cut into large florets, 240 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • half cup Parmesan Cheese Finely grated and tightly packaged, 4 ounces
  • 2/3 cup Plain Greek Yogurt don't use nonfat
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic minced
  • pinch of Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 400degF. Spray an 8x8-inch pan with oil.
  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon slices on medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side. Flip them once. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels and remove any excess fat. Set aside. Don't throw away the bacon fat.
  • Add the broccoli and cauliflower into a large bowl. Pour the bacon fat over the vegetables and toss them until they are well coated. Salt and toss the vegetables to coat.
  • Spread out the vegetables evenly on a cookie tray, being careful not to crowd them. Bake for 10 minutes or until the vegetables start to release moisture and the cauliflower is just starting to get tender.
  • Use a spoon to place the roasted vegetables in one layer on a paper towel. Press out moisture with another layer of paper towels. Do not smash the vegetables, but rather try to remove as much moisture as possible. Repeat the process with another layer. *
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl with the vegetables. Stir everything until it is coated with yogurt and mixed. Chop the bacon and add it to the yogurt.
  • Transfer the vegetables to the pan and pack them tightly together. Bake, covered, for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted, is bubbling and beginning to brown.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then EAT!

Notes

*Do Not skip this step, or your dish will be watery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What herbs should you take daily?

Depending on your health and wellness needs, many herbs can be taken daily to help improve your overall health.

Popular herbs for daily consumption include ashwagandha, turmeric, ginger, holy basil, chamomile, lavender, peppermint, and cayenne pepper. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that can help the body resist stress and anxiety. Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, while ginger has been shown to aid digestion and boost immunity. Holy basil may help with managing blood sugar levels, as well as providing a calming effect. Chamomile can promote relaxation, while lavender is used in aromatherapy for its calming properties. Peppermint can help aid digestion and reduce nausea, while cayenne pepper has antibacterial properties that may boost your immunity.

As always, you must consult your doctor before taking herbs daily to ensure they are safe for you and do not interact with any other medications or herbs you may be taking.

There is no shortage of information on what foods we should eat and how much exercise we should do. But when it comes to what supplements we should take, there is a dearth of knowledge.

This is because most of us aren’t sure which ones work or which are junk. So we go online and look up whatever we can find.

But often, these articles are written by companies trying to promote their products. Which means they're usually biased toward their product.

So instead of finding unbiased advice, we end up reading marketing hype.

This makes sense since marketers make more money selling stuff than doctors.

The medical industry isn’t even allowed to advertise directly to consumers anymore. The best way to learn about natural remedies is to read independent reviews.

This is where you'll find real users sharing their experiences with each supplement. These sites give you an honest opinion of whether or not a particular herb helps.

Users will often share their experience with a supplement after taking it. This gives you a good idea of its effectiveness and any side effects.

You can also check out forums dedicated to herbalism. Here you can ask questions and receive answers based on personal experience.

Of course, there are plenty of other ways to learn about herbs.

There are books, websites, blogs, videos, podcasts, and classes. All of them provide valuable information about natural remedies.

What herb is best for healing?

Herbs are a fantastic way to help heal our bodies. Herbal medicine has been used since ancient times and continues to grow today. There are thousands of herbs known to cure various ailments.

Some herbs are excellent for treating colds and flu, while others can treat anxiety, depression, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and more.

There are also herbal remedies for skin care, hair loss, weight loss, sexual health, energy, sleep, digestion, and much more.

The list goes on and on. But one herb stands above them all regarding its ability to heal. That herb is called aloe vera.

Aloe Vera is considered to be the world's most powerful healer. For centuries it has helped people heal themselves naturally without any side effects.

It's incredible how well aloe vera works. It's even better than prescription drugs and surgery.

In addition to its natural healing properties, aloe vera is highly versatile and can be used in almost any area of life, including food, beauty products, and household cleaning supplies.

You may not realize this, but aloe vera contains hundreds of active compounds, which include vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, sulfur, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, chloride, fluoride, iodine, selenium and more.

These nutrients are essential for human body functions such as cell growth, metabolism, immune system support, healthy bones and teeth, healthy blood pressure levels, healthy eyesight, healthy cardiovascular systems, healthy digestive systems, healthy lungs, healthy nervous system, healthy reproductive organs, healthy skin, and healthy libido.

What are healing flowers?

Healing flowers are plants that promote peace and tranquillity. They help us unwind after a stressful day and make us feel more relaxed.

They also help us connect to our inner selves and reconnect with nature.

These beautiful blooms are used for meditation, prayer, and contemplation.

We call hundreds of varieties of flowering plants ‘healing’ because they provide such a fantastic experience.

This list includes roses, lilies, irises, daffodils, peonies, tulips, hyacinths, and many more.

But there are two species that I find particularly special. These are the Geranium and Lilium.

Geraniums are very easy to grow and come in various colors. Liliums are also known as lily-of-the-valley, which means 'lily' and 'valley.' Both of these species are popular garden flowers.

Healing flowers are often found growing near water. They are said to bring peace and calmness to those who meditate with them.

In ancient times, people would light candles in flower petals to symbolize the sun. This way, they could honor the sun without needing to go outdoors.

Some say that when you look at these flowers, you may see angels dancing.

Which spices from the kitchen are used to cure diseases?

There are more than 4000 medicinal plants that are widely distributed throughout the world. Some of these plants contain active compounds that may help treat various ailments.

In India alone, there are more than 1000 species of herbs that are used for medical purposes. This includes Ayurvedic medicine, Unani medicine, Siddha medicine, Homeopathic medicine, and Chinese medicine.

The most common ingredient found in these medicines is ginger. Ginger contains volatile oils that give it its aromatic flavor. These oils contain anti-inflammatory properties that make them useful against arthritis, fever, vomiting, and indigestion.

Ginger also helps relieve nausea and stomach cramps caused due to pregnancy. Pregnant women often consume ginger tea to reduce morning sickness. Ginger is also commonly used for cough and cold relief.

Another spice that is known to have medicinal value is turmeric. Turmeric contains curcumin which has been shown to inhibit tumor growth. This makes it an effective cancer treatment.

Turmeric is also considered to be very beneficial for joint health. It relieves inflammation and stiffness associated with rheumatoid arthritis. It is also believed to prevent osteoporosis.

Garlic, too, is another herb that is extensively used in traditional medicine. Its healing qualities include treating infections, asthma, heart disease, and diabetes and even reducing cholesterol levels. Garlic oil is also used to treat wounds and insect bites.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic that fights bacteria and viruses. The antibacterial property makes it ideal for treating respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia.

It is also helpful in preventing urinary tract infections.

Other spices like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, black pepper, ginger, cayenne, mustard seeds, fennel, and coriander are also used to treat different illnesses.

Statistics

  • The global herbs market is expected to reach more than $125 billion by the end of 2025.
  • The herbs market is highly competitive, with over 1,000 herb suppliers and over 15,000 herbs products available in the United States alone.

How To

What to look for in herbs?

Herbs contain natural compounds that may help treat various conditions. In addition, herbal remedies may provide relief when used along with conventional treatments.

Herbal remedies include teas, capsules, tablets, ointments, creams, lotions, oils, and topical applications. Some of these products are meant to be taken internally, while others are applied externally.

The most common uses of herbal remedies include relieving minor aches and pains, treating cold symptoms, reducing fever, controlling coughs and sore throats, easing digestion problems, soothing skin irritations, alleviating menstrual cramps, and providing general health benefits.

When buying herbs, look for the following:

  • Freshly picked plants. Avoid dried herbs unless they've been stored in a cool place. If possible, buy herbs directly from farmers' markets.
  • Pure extracts. These are made by extracting the active ingredients from herbs using alcohol or water. Look for 100% pure extractions.
  • Certified organic herbs. Organic herbs must meet strict standards set forth by the USDA.
  • Natural flavors. Many herbs have strong scents that can overwhelm other foods. Adding flavorings such as vanilla, almond, or orange helps mask their smell.
  • Potency. The amount of active ingredient per unit weight varies depending on the type of herb.
  • Packaging. When purchasing herbs, check the packaging to ensure that it's clean and free of chemicals.
