Dark rum, pineapple juice with a tang, orange zest, and coconut cream are the ingredients. You'll be dancing on a beach in the sun as soon as you take a sip. This juicy cocktail was the highlight of our family vacations to the Caribbean. My dad would order Painkillers as soon as we stepped onto the beach. This was our family tradition. It was right up there with putting on sunscreen and making sandcastles.

Where do Classic Painkillers rank in the hall of fame for tropical cocktails? Imagine them as the fun, fabulous sister cocktail to daiquiris and pina coladas. The rum, pineapple and coconut are all great ingredients that capture the vacation vibe. The secret ingredient that makes the Painkiller so popular is orange juice and a sprinkle of nutmeg. This combination takes the flavours from WOW to WHOA. If you want to have a girls night or need some alone time, a Classic Painkiller cocktail will transport you to the beach. Sand is not included in this recipe!
