  1. Wholesale clubs - Sams Club and Costco are great places for bulk food like chicken breasts or pork chops. If you're lucky enough to live near one of these stores, you can often get deals on large quantities of meat (up to 50 pounds). This ensures that meat is not wasted. If you buy it in bulk you can freeze it so it lasts more.
  2. You can shop online for meat at great prices. Amazon offers Prime Pantry, a weekly deal with free shipping on orders above $35. They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. It's easy to browse their website and see what's available at different times.
  3. Local farmers will usually be cheaper than big-box retailers since they don't pay large fees to stock their shelves. Because they know exactly the diets and drinks of their animals, local farmers can provide a better understanding of what's inside.
