Frequently Asked Questions

Why should organic be my first choice?

The health risks of conventional agriculture include asthma, allergies and diabetes. Make healthy food choices.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG), offers these tips to help you choose "cleaner" foods:

Always buy organic fruits & vegetables.

USDA organic labels should be used on meat, poultry and eggs as well as milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, honey, and other dairy products.

Avoid processed foods that are labeled "natural" or "no added ingredients."

Be sure to read all ingredient labels. If an ingredient doesn't appear on the list, it could be added to the product during processing.

You should choose fresh meats rather than frozen or canned. Canned and frozen foods can often have lower nutritional content like high fructose syrup.

What are organic beauty products?

Organic Beauty Products are natural products without synthetic chemicals such as petroleum, parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, and artificial preservatives. These ingredients are present in all conventional beauty products including shampoos and cosmetics.

Organic beauty products can also be made without animal testing, and they do not contain any genetically altered organisms (GMO).

The USDA defines organic as "a system for production that fosters recycling of resources". It has been used over the years to describe foods grown without pesticides.

Due to the adverse effects of chemicals on our bodies, there has been a growing demand for eco-friendly cosmetics in recent years.

These include allergies, cancer, skin irritation, hormonal imbalance, early aging, and skin irritation.

Organic beauty businesses are committed to providing safe, healthy products that consumers can use while protecting the environment.

Why is organic produce important?

It is essential for our health to eat organic produce. It is the best option to ensure that we eat nutritious food. It's better for us and more sustainable because it doesn’t depend on pesticides or fertilizers.

Organic farming uses natural methods of cultivating crops that are free from harmful chemicals. This makes organic farming safer for both humans and animals. By choosing organic food, you are protecting the planet as well as yourself.

However, organic food is good for our health. We all know the negative effects that processed foods can have on our health. Organic fruits and vegetables aren’t subject to chemicals spray. It means that organic fruits, vegetables and other foods are fresher tasting, more vibrant and last longer.

That's why eating organic matters so much. It's healthy for you and the planet.

How To

5 Reasons Why You Should Buy Organic Products

Organic foods are free from pesticides and synthetic fertilisers. They don't contain any genetically modified organisms or irradiated foods. Their production does not use sewage sludge and industrial solvents. During its growing cycle, the food's natural environment will be protected from contamination. It is free of preservatives as well as artificial additives. There is no use hormones or anti-biotics. They are also produced in conditions that enable them to preserve their nutritional value, freshness, and quality for longer periods.

  1. Health benefits. Nonorganic produce is more chemically-laden than organic. It's therefore less likely that it will cause allergies and other sensitivities. It also means that you consume less toxic chemicals and carcinogens.
  2. Eco-friendliness. Produce grown without synthetic fertilizer and pesticides requires very little water. Organic farms are typically located far away form areas of high pollution and where conventional growth is difficult because it requires so much effort. This reduces air pollution.
  3. Sustainability. Organic farming relies on soil fertility rather than chemical fertilizers; this results in healthier soils with higher levels of organic matter. Farmers should rotate crops and let the land go bare periodically to improve soil health. Strong immune systems develop when farm animals are fed only grasses grown without antibiotics or added hormones.
  4. Taste. Due to being picked at peak quality, vegetables and fruits are often bland. Organic produce is more rich and sweetened because it was harvested when it was still unripe.
  5. Nutrition. GMOs and BPA are common in processed foods. Stick to whole foods, including meat, eggs fish, nuts seeds, beans and fruit.
