In this article, I will share my tips and tricks for buying organic meat without having to break the bank.
I will give you tips on where to find cheap organic meats and how much they cost per pound. Learn how to get maximum value from the products you buy.
You don't need to spend a lot of money to eat healthily. Sometimes creativity is required to make money while still eating healthy. Here are some ways you can cut down on food expenses while still getting the best from organic meat.
- Shop at wholesale clubs - Sams Club or Costco are great places to buy bulk foods such as chicken breasts and pork chops. You can often find deals on large quantities (up to 50 pounds) if you live close to one of these stores. This will ensure that you don't waste any meat. Also, if you buy in bulk, it can be frozen so it lasts for longer.
- You can shop online for meat at great prices. Amazon has Prime Pantry, a weekly sale that offers free shipping for orders over $35. They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. You can easily browse their website to see what is available at different times.
- Local farmers will usually be cheaper than big-box retailers since they don't pay large fees to stock their shelves. Local farmers also know exactly what their animals have eaten and drank so they can determine what's in their bodies.
