You have a trick. To make the mushroom stem stick out, wrap a rubber band around it and twist it tightly. By doing this, you won’t slip and get cut.
It may sound too simple. Well, it is. But it's also very powerful.
The rubber band makes it slippery so that it feels natural when you pick up the stem. It doesn't hurt to keep the stem in place.
