Spicing up dishes is a great way to add variety to meals. Many spices can be added for additional flavor and excitement.
You may find that adding a few drops of hot pepper sauce to a bowl of soup will make it taste more delicious. Perhaps you can add some cayenne peppers to your cup of rice.
You can experiment with spice recipes best if you use fresh ingredients. Look for organic dried herbs when you purchase them. Fresh herbs keep longer than dried ones.
Certain spices are essential in cooking. However, you may prefer to avoid some. Cinnamon sticks have high levels of coumarin. They should not be consumed if you have had liver disease in the past. Ginger also contains coumarin, but it's much less concentrated. People who do not have any liver problems are safe.

How To
How to cut Shiitake Mushrooms
So, the shiitakes are growing well. There's nothing wrong about them. How do we cut them? We've tried everything. Even the scissors. But they keep slipping out of our hands. What is the deal?
Well, there's a trick for that. Use a rubber band to secure the stem of your mushroom. You won't slip, and you won't be cut.
You may think it sounds too easy. It is. But it's also very powerful.
The rubber band makes it slippery so that it feels natural when you pick up the stem. Plus, it doesn't hurt to hold the stem tightly.
Try it now. It will be so much easier to cut mushrooms than ever before.
