How To Make Pumpkin Protein Bars

I think there's nothing better than something so tasty that is also easy to make. These bars are also my JAM. It only takes a few easy steps to turn them into a reality. They'll be your new favorite snack! How to make them?

Set your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the pan with parchment paper and spray a little oil on it. Set aside.

Stir

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, maple syrup and vanilla extract. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin, egg whites, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Add the quick oats, and then add the wet to the dry ingredients. Mix all ingredients until well combined.

Spread the batter in the pan using a rubber spatula. Sprinkle pecans on top and drizzle syrup over. Bake it until the middle is set.

DEVOUR

Slice and serve after cooling completely! Enjoy!

How to store pumpkin protein bars

Baking a few batches of these bars will allow you to enjoy them later. Store them in a container that is airtight in your refrigerator. This will keep them fresh for about a week. You can keep the bars in the freezer for up to one month if you have any left over after a week. Enjoy these delicious, easy, and nutritious bars whenever you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Pumpkin Not pumpkin pie filling
  • 3/4 cup Egg Whites About 6 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup Plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup Truvia
  • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice Plus 2 teaspoons
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 1/3 cup Pecans Chopped

Instructions

  • Spray cooking spray on parchment paper and line a 8x8-inch pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, egg yolks, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir together the pumpkin pie spice, truvia and protein powder in a medium-sized bowl.
  • Stir in the protein powder and quick oats to the mixture.
  • Pour the batter in the pan and smooth it out. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top and drizzle maple syrup over.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the sides pull away.
  • Slice into bars after letting cool to room temperature.

Notes

The bars can be kept at room temperature up to 2-3 days before being refrigerated.

It is the same for cardamom and cloves as well as ginger, ginger, nutmeg, and ginger. These spices can be purchased in bulk to save money.

Whole spices also last longer than ground spices. Ground spices quickly lose their potency due to oxidation.

We recommend buying whole spices because they add flavor to your recipes.

For instance, you can make a delicious curry with whole turmeric instead of ground turmeric. You can also grind whole coriander leaves to make a spice mix for chicken dishes.

Grinding spices takes time. It is sensible to purchase large quantities when buying whole spices. So that you don’t run out of spices, it’s a smart move.

It is important to know how you can choose the right spices and herbs to cook. There are hundreds of options, so where do you begin when deciding which ones to add to your pantry?

When choosing spices, there are three things you should consider: the flavour profile, shelf-life, and cost. Depending on whether you are cooking meat, fish, vegetables or pasta, the flavour profiles of spices will vary. So once you've decided on a category, you'll need to narrow down your choices based on these differences.

Also, shelf lives can vary widely. Some spices last forever, while others expire quickly. For example, cayenne pepper lasts for years, whereas oregano loses its potency after two months. Also, the price. The price of spices can vary from $1 per tablespoon to over $100 per ounce. This means you have to strike the right balance between quality and cost.

Also, consider whether organic or not organic ingredients. Organic products have fewer pesticides and chemicals that conventional products, which is better for your health as well as the environment. But they can often be more expensive so make sure you weigh the benefits against their costs.
