For now, love yourself and enjoy this one ...

Now love yourself and enjoy this one ...

Even picky eaters will love this easy 4-ingredient meal! Gluten free, low carbs and delicious!

Since I discovered the everything bagel seasoning, nothing is safe.

If I'm being basic, I like it best on avocado toast or eggs.

Or I love to spice up some roasted Salmon with everything bagel seasoning or everything bagel chip. Everything bagel seasoning is a great addition to any dish.

Especially when cream cheese is included in the recipe, like this tasty little weeknight meal that received 5 stars from Hubby!

What is the Everything Bagel Seasoning?

Have you ever heard of bagels? If you answered no, I would be SUPER surprised! If it is, then don't be worried because I will tell you everything you need about it! This is the perfect seasoning for salads, bagels, and breads! It's great on sandwiches, like Mexican Avocado Spread Sandwiches, to give them that extra flavor! It's because it can be used to jazz up many recipes by simply adding a dash of it.
This combination of spices is just Magic:

  • Poppy Seeds
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • Dried Garlic
  • Dried Onion
  • Coarse Salt

Ingredients for Everything Bagel Chicken

This amazing spice blend is great for baking, but did know it can add a lot of flavor to meat? It can and will! Gather the ingredients for this recipe of Everything but the Bagel Chicken.
To make this deliciousness you will need:

  • Skinless and Boneless Chicken Breast
  • salt
  • Every Bagel Seasoning
  • Cream Cheese
  • Olive Oil

Dairy-Free Recipe

It's easy to make this recipe dairy-free if you like it but need it. You can modify the ingredients to meet your specific needs. You can substitute dairy-free or vegan cream cheese for the original. This recipe for everything chicken is not vegan. However, vegan cream cheese spread will satisfy your dairy-free needs.

How To Butterfly A Chicken Breast

This is one of my favorite ways to prepare the chicken before cooking it. Butterflied chicken breasts leave 2 thin slices, which I find easy to handle.
Place one hand on the breast of a chicken to butterfly it. Use your dominant hand to carefully cut into the chicken's breast, horizontally. Continue until the entire breast is gone.
Make sure you leave a small piece uncut to ensure that the two halves stay attached.

How To Make Everything Bagel Chicken

Slice
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Butterfly the chicken breast by cutting it horizontally, but not all the way through. Salt the chicken breast after opening it up.
Season
Sprinkle generously the Everything Bagel Seasoning on all sides of chicken breast.
Roll-and-Secure
Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese on each chicken breast. Roll each chicken breast up and secure with toothpicks.
Sear
Heat oil in a large oven-safe frying pan over medium heat. The chicken should be seared until both sides are golden brown (between 2 and 3 minutes per side ).).
Bake
Cook the chicken in the pan until it is no longer pink. A thermometer that can be used in an oven should read 165 degrees Fahrenheit. This should take about 15-20 minutes.

Enjoy
It's time to EAT! This is my favorite Everything But the Bagel recipe and I promise you'll love it!

Side Dish Recipes

You're sold on the Everything Bagel Chicken, but you need some sides to complete the meal. These are my top picks for sides to go with this delicious chicken:

  • Salads are my favorite and go well with chicken dishes. Quinoa Chickpea Avocado Salad With Black Beans and Mediterannean low carb Broccoli Salad are two of my favorites.
  • There are many ways to prepare potatoes. Tahini Maple roasted sweet potatoes and Oven roasted lemon Greek potatoes are two recipes that go well with chicken.
  • Sauteed broccolini is a great way to keep your vegetables simple.

You will eat everything when you cook the dinner

Frequently Asked Questions

Which herbs are healing herbs?

If you look for healing herbs, you won’t find them in the supermarket. There isn’t any place to buy them. There is no store selling them.

You haven’t been able to find healing herbs because they aren’t sold anywhere. They are grown right here in our backyard.

Healing herbs are plants that grow naturally in North America. Like many common household items, these herbs grow throughout the United States and Canada.

These herbs treat minor ailments such as colds, flu, sore throats, coughs, and headaches. Many of these herbs have been used for centuries to help heal wounds and promote overall health.

Of course, when we say “heal,” we mean more than simply treating an illness. We also refer to the ability of these herbs to restore balance and harmony within ourselves and the world around us.

For example, the chamomile herb helps relieve stress. This means that if you feel stressed out, you may benefit from taking chamomile tea. Chamomile tea has been shown to reduce anxiety and nervous tension.

In addition, chamomile tea has been proven effective in relieving insomnia.

Chamomile tea has many other benefits, including its ability to ease stomach aches and gas pains and even improve digestion.

Another popular healing herb is Echinacea. Echinacea is known for helping to fight infections and boosting the immune system.

Echinacea is commonly taken internally and externally to fight infection, prevent viral diseases, and boost immunity. It is safe to use during pregnancy and lactation.

Echinacea also helps reduce muscle pain and inflammation. You can take echinacea orally or topically (as an ointment).

This herb is available in both liquid and capsule form. Liquid echinacea is often mixed with honey and lemon juice. The mixture is then strained and consumed.

Capsules are usually made of freeze-dried plant material. They contain standardized amounts of active ingredients. To use capsules, swallow one or two a day.

The third type of herbal remedy is called tincture. Tinctures are alcoholic extracts of herbs. They are typically used to treat internal problems. Tinctures are generally diluted before being ingested.

Tinctures can be taken orally or applied topically. For oral consumption, dilute tinctures with water. Some people prefer to mix tinctures with food.

Tinctures are easy to prepare. Put about one tablespoon of dried herb into a bottle containing enough alcohol to cover the herb completely. Allow the mixture to sit for several weeks. Then strain and consume.

You may want to try some of these natural remedies to see which ones work best.

What is the difference between herbs and spices?

Herbs are used for cooking, and spices are used for seasoning.

Herbs have more intense flavors and can be used to cook dishes, while spices can bring out the flavor of foods without altering the taste.

Spices can also be added to food during preparation, such as curry. Spices may be bought individually, or whole packages may be purchased. There are many spices, including black pepper, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, garlic, ginger, nutmeg, oregano, paprika, parsley, rosemary, sage, salt, thyme, turmeric, vanilla extract, etc.

The best way to ensure that you are selecting the right spice for your dish is to read the label carefully. If there is an ingredient list, look for "spice" among the ingredients. A common mistake cooks make is buying too much of a particular spice because they do not realize how little they need.

There are a few basic rules to follow when choosing which herb or spice to use. For example, most herbs are fresh, whereas spices tend to last longer. Also, herbs are generally found in small quantities, while spices come in larger containers. Finally, most herbs are usually sold loose (or ground), while spices are packaged in jars or cans.

As long as you are careful to select the correct herbs or spices, you will find that adding them to recipes makes preparing meals easier. After all, spices add flavor to various dishes, while herbs can help improve the appearance and aroma of food.

How is basil used for medicinal purposes?

In ancient times, doctors would prescribe basil leaves to treat colds and coughs. Today, basil contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties, making it an ideal remedy for arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, eczema, gout, hay fever, indigestion, migraines, menstrual cramps, sinus infections, sore throats, ulcers, varicose veins, and more.

Basil is also known for its ability to help protect against cancer, heart disease, diabetes, skin conditions, and even aging.

Basil is often referred to as "the herb of grace" because it helps us relax and unwind after stressful situations. It is also said to improve memory and concentration, boost energy levels, increase libido, and enhance athletic performance.

The list goes on and on. Basil is a versatile plant that offers a wide range of benefits for our health and well-being.

What spice is good for inflammation?

Turmeric is one spice that can be beneficial for reducing inflammation. It contains the active ingredient curcumin, which has been studied extensively and shown to have anti-inflammatory effects on the body. Other spices like ginger, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, garlic, and cardamom may also reduce inflammation in the body. Adding these spices to your diet can help reduce inflammation and promote overall health.

Another spice that can be used to reduce inflammation is black pepper. The active ingredient in black pepper, piperine, has been studied and found to have anti-inflammatory properties. It may also help reduce pain associated with inflammation. Additionally, the spice contains antioxidants which are beneficial for overall health.

Adding black pepper to your diet may help reduce inflammation and promote overall health. Be sure to talk with your doctor before adding any spice to your diet, as some spices may interact with your medications or supplements. Eating various healthy foods, including spices with anti-inflammatory benefits, can help keep your body balanced and reduce the risk of chronic inflammation-related illnesses.

In summary, adding spices to your diet can be beneficial for reducing inflammation and promoting overall health. Spices like turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, garlic, cardamom, and black pepper have all been studied for their potential anti-inflammatory effects.

How to make herbal remedies at home?

Making herbal remedies at home is easy. All you need is fresh herbs, water, salt, and sugar. You can use any herb, depending on what you want to create.

For example, choose mint, basil, chamomile, or lemon balm to make a soothing tea. If you want to make a cooling drink, try rosemary, thyme, lavender, or eucalyptus.

All you need to do is put all the ingredients into a pot and boil them until they become soft. Strain out the herbs and serve hot.

Add honey to the boiling mixture to make a tonic drink. Honey is a preservative and will keep your herbal remedy fresh for longer.

You can also combine two or three herbs to make a more potent brew. For instance, you could mix equal parts of garlic and ginger to make a powerful antiseptic. Or you can combine equal amounts of turmeric and ginger to make a potent immune booster.

Soak a clean cloth in warm water and place it over the affected area to make a compress. Leave it for 10 minutes before removing it. Do this every day until the swelling goes down.

Make sure you consult your doctor first before using herbal remedies. Some plants may interact negatively with other medications. Also, don't take large quantities of herbs because they can cause side effects.

Statistics

  • The global herbs market is expected to reach more than $125 billion by the end of 2025.
  • Herbs are among the most popular and widely used medicinal remedies. According to a survey conducted by the National Institutes of Health, herbs were used by over 38% of adults in the United States.

How To

How To Upcycle Herbs After Making Infusions, Oils, Tinctures, And More?

There are more ways to use herbs than you might realize. This is why it's essential to keep an open mind when learning how to make herbal infusions, oils, tinctures, and more.

You'll find that there are many methods for making these products, and even though they may seem similar, each method has its benefits.

For example, some methods include creating decoctions, boiling water or alcohol with the herb(s), and letting them simmer for a while. These infusions are solid and potent because they contain higher concentrations of active compounds.

Another type of infusion includes macerating the herb(s), which means soaking them in liquid for a few hours or even overnight. Macerations tend to produce milder results because the plant material isn't boiled.

Some cold-infused forms involve steeping herbs in cool liquids such as ice cubes or cold water. Cold infusions are gentler than hot ones, often used to treat minor ailments.

Herbal oil extraction involves heating the herb(s) to release the essential oils. You can either do this yourself or have someone help you out with it.

Finally, there are tinctures made by mixing herbs with alcohol. They're usually taken orally and are very effective for treating coughs, colds, and flu symptoms.

The best way to learn how to create infused products is to experiment with various techniques. Each technique offers a different potency and effectiveness, depending on the herb(s) you choose.

Once you've tried a few different methods, you'll begin to develop your preferences. In time, you'll be able to determine which techniques work well for you and which aren't worth pursuing.
