Organic skincare products do not contain synthetic chemicals like parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, petroleum jelly or petrolatum.
Organic skincare products are free from artificial colours, fragrances and preservatives.
They also help to preserve healthy skin and prevent premature aging.

What should I look out for when buying organic products?
USDA-certified organic labels are desirable. This certification means that the product is certified organic by USDA. Look for the "USDA Organic" seal on packages, boxes, cartons, cans, and jars.
When you shop for meat, ensure that it comes from cows who are fed organic feed. Cattle are ruminants. They eat the whole animal. Ruminant cattle have four stomach compartments: rumen, reticulum, omasum, and abomasum. To be labeled '100% organic, all animal parts must be organically nourished.
Chicken should be only purchased from chickens raised on organic feed, and not given antibiotics. Omnivore chickens eat both animals and plants. Omnivorous chickens possess a digestive tract made up of a crop.
When buying dairy products, ensure they come from cows fed 100% organically grown feed. Just like ruminants, dairy cows also have four stomachs. The fourth stomach compartment is the udder.
You should always check the label before purchasing any other livestock. This will let you know what percentage of the diet was given to the animals. For example, pork may be labelled '95% organic.' This means 95 percent of the pig's feed came from organic sources.
What are the most loved organic products?
Today, organic foods are the fastest-growing industries. But even though we've come a long way from our roots, there is still much room for growth.
Organic products are the future. They are safer and more cost-effective for consumers.
However, they are also more expensive. That is why we developed the Organic Food Index. We wanted to see which foods are most in demand today and how these trends are changing.
These findings show that organic foods are becoming more popular. Between 2011-2012, nearly half of Americans shopped for organic foods.
According to the USDA, organic production increased by 10% last year alone. The U.S. now produces 9% of its agricultural output from organic food.
While organic food is certainly gaining ground, it seems that it is still an expensive choice for consumers. According to the Organic Trade Association (OTA), average retail prices for organic food are almost double those of conventional alternatives.
That said, organic food is growing faster than any other segment of the food sector. You can see that organic food has been steadily increasing since 2009.
According to OTA however, the volume in supermarkets of organic products grew by 14% from 2010 to 2011.
This is due to consumer demand for healthier food, which explains why organic foods sales are rising across all age groups.
However, younger generations are leading the charge when choosing organic food. Millennials are twice as likely than baby boomers to buy organic foods. Young adults aged below 35 account for 25%.
Organic means it is free from pesticides?
Organic food is naturally chemical-free and grows without pesticides. This means that organic food is not exposed to pesticides or fertilizers.
Organic produce also contains more nutrients than conventionally produced foods because it contains no harmful additives.
The USDA National Organic Program (NOP), requires that farmers follow strict guidelines when growing organic crops.
These guidelines include soil preparation and crop rotation, pest management, water conservation, as well as harvesting practices.
Organic farming methods are also beneficial for wildlife and natural habitats.
Why should I buy organic?
Conventional agriculture has been linked with many health problems including asthma, allergies. You must make healthy choices when buying food.
The Environmental Working Group has the following tips for choosing "cleaner" food.
As much as possible, purchase organic fruits or vegetables
USDA organic labels can be found on meat, poultry (eggs, eggs), milk, cheese and yogurt as well.
Avoid processed foods that are labeled "natural" or "no added ingredients."
Be sure to read all ingredient labels. If an ingredient isn’t listed, it might be added during processing.
Fresh meats are better than canned or frozen. Frozen and canned foods often contain less nutrient-rich ingredients like high fructose corn syrup.

How To
How to Buy Organic Meat Even on a Limited Budget
In this post I'll share some tips and techniques for buying organic meat that won't break the bank.
I will give you tips on where to find cheap organic meats and how much they cost per pound. You will learn how to make the best out of what you purchase.
To eat well, you don't have to spend a lot. Sometimes, you have to use your creativity to save money while still eating well. Here's my list to help you keep food costs low while still enjoying all the health benefits of organic meat.
- Buy at wholesale clubs - Costco and Sams Club are great places to shop for bulk foods like chicken breasts and pork chops. You can often find deals on large quantities (up to 50 pounds) if you live close to one of these stores. You won't have to waste meat. And if you buy it in bulk, you can freeze it, so it lasts longer.
- Shopping online is easy - There are tons of websites that sell meat at reduced prices. Amazon has Prime Pantry, a weekly sale that offers free shipping for orders over $35. They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. It's simple to visit their website to view the latest offerings at different times.
- Find a local farmer - Local farmers usually charge less than big box retailers because they do not pay considerable fees to stock their shelves. Because they know exactly the diets and drinks of their animals, local farmers can provide a better understanding of what's inside.
- Look for lean cuts of meat. Fatty meats are generally more expensive to cook. Look for the tiniest cuts. The most common ones are sirloin steak, tenderloin roast, top round steak, and flank steak. These cuts are high in protein and low in fat.
- Explore new recipes. Don't be afraid of trying new things. It's possible to reduce grocery expenses by cooking new recipes using ingredients you've never tried before. You might be amazed at the delicious recipes you can create with fresh tomatoes and onions, garlic, olive oils, and spices.
- Remaining meat and poultry can be used for sandwiches, salads or soups. It's easy to make quick lunches and dinners with leftover meat.
There you have it! Here are some tips on how you can afford organic meat despite being on a strict budget. What other tips do you have? Do you have any suggestions for me on where to find cheap meat?
