If you are fortunate enough to live near one, you may be able get discounts up to 50 lbs on large quantities. This way you won't end up with any leftover meat. If you buy it in bulk you can freeze it so it lasts more.
- Look online to save money on meat. Amazon, for example, offers Prime Pantry, a weekly deal that includes free shipping on orders greater than $35 They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. It's easy to browse their website and see what's available at different times.
