Five Reasons to Purchase Organic Products
Organic foods do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. They do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or radioactive ingredients. They do not use industrial solvents or sewage effluent in their production. During the course of its growth cycle, the natural environment of the food is protected from contamination. It is completely free from artificial preservatives, additives, and other harmful chemicals. There are no hormones and antibiotics used. They are also made in conditions that maintain their nutritional value and freshness for longer times.
- Health benefits. Organic produce contains fewer chemicals than nonorganic produce. This makes it less likely to cause allergies or sensitivities. This also means that you are consuming less toxins and carcinogens.
