- Cruelty free - No animals were endangered during the manufacturing process.
- Natural Ingredients are ingredients that have been naturally extracted from plants or animals.
- Vegan/Vegetarian: The ingredients can be either vegetarian or vegan.
- Gluten-Free is a label that indicates that no gluten was added to the product.
- Non-Toxic: The product does not contain toxic substances, carcinogens or any other harmful compounds that could cause harm to your health.
- Biodegradable - the product will break down into harmless components when discarded.
- Pesticide Free – There were no pesticides used during the harvesting or growing process.
- GMO-Free means that no ingredient in the product contains genetically modified organisms.
- Certified Organic is a certification that the ingredients of the recipe were grown using sustainable methods.
What is organic meat exactly?
Organic meat is real food grown without pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or hormones. This also means that animals weren't given any genetically modified feed. This means that the meat is safe for consumption as there aren’t any harmful chemicals.
Organic meats are good for the environment. When we eat organic foods, we reduce the pollution in landfills, rivers, lakes, etc. We also help protect wildlife because organic farmers usually do not use toxic chemicals that kill insects and birds.

I will give you tips on where to find cheap organic meats and how much they cost per pound. You will learn how to make the best out of what you purchase.
To eat well, you don't have to spend a lot. Sometimes it takes creativity to save money and eat well. Here's my list of ways to keep your food costs down while enjoying organic meat's benefits.
- Buy bulk food at wholesale clubs. Sams Club and Costco both offer great options for buying bulk foods like pork chops and chicken breasts. If you are fortunate enough to live near one, you may be able get discounts up to 50 lbs on large quantities. This way you won't end up with any leftover meat. And if you buy it in bulk, you can freeze it, so it lasts longer.
- Look online to save money on meat. Amazon offers Prime Pantry weekly deals, including free shipping for orders above $35 They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. It's simple to visit their website to view the latest offerings at different times.
- Look for a local farmer. They usually charge less than big-box retailers, as they don't have to pay large stocking fees. Because they know exactly the diets and drinks of their animals, local farmers can provide a better understanding of what's inside.
