What is the difference between organic and inorganic foods?

Organic food is made without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Organic farming practices promote soil health, water quality and animal welfare.

Inorganic foods may be grown with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or sewage sludge. Radiated foods can be treated with radiation. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are created by biological engineering techniques.

I'll give you some tips about where to find organic meats at a low price and how much it costs per pound. You'll learn how to get the best from what you buy.

For healthy eating, you don’t have to spend a lot. Sometimes you need to be creative in order to save money and still eat healthy. Here are some ways you can cut down on food expenses while still getting the best from organic meat.

  1. Buy at wholesale clubs - Costco and Sams Club are great places to shop for bulk foods like chicken breasts and pork chops. You can often find deals on large quantities (up to 50 pounds) if you live close to one of these stores. This way you won't end up with any leftover meat. And if you buy it in bulk, you can freeze it, so it lasts longer.
  2. Look online to save money on meat. Amazon offers Prime Pantry weekly deals, including free shipping for orders above $35 They offer discounts on beef roasts, ground beef, lamb steaks, and pork loins. It's simple to visit their website to view the latest offerings at different times.
  3. Locate a farmer in your area. Local farmers are usually cheaper than big box retailers as they don’t pay high stocking fees. They know exactly what the animals ate and drank to ensure they are fully informed about what is in their bodies.
