Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I go organic?
Many health issues have been linked to conventional agriculture, including obesity, diabetes and cancer. Make healthy food choices.
Here are some tips from the Environmental Working Group (EWG).
Always buy organic fruits & vegetables.
USDA organic labels are required for meat, poultry, eggs and milk.
Avoid processed foods marked "natural" or with "no additives."
Be sure to read all ingredient labels. If an ingredient is not listed, it can be added during processing.
Frozen and canned meats should be preferred to fresh. Canned and frozen foods can often have lower nutritional content like high fructose syrup.
What are organic products good for skin?
Organic skincare products do not contain synthetic chemicals like parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, petroleum jelly or petrolatum.
Organic skincare products are also free of artificial colours, fragrances, preservatives, emulsifiers, GMOs, petrochemicals, animal testing (except cosmetics tested on animals), pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, heavy metals, and other contaminants.
They are designed to promote healthy skin, prevent premature wrinkles, heal injuries after they happen, and support overall wellbeing.

What's the difference?
Organic food is free from pesticides, chemical fertilizers and sewage sludge. It can also be grown without irradiation or genetic modification. Organic farming practices are good for soil health, water quality, animal welfare, and the environment.
Inorganic foods can be grown using pesticides, chemical fertilizers and sewage sludge. Radiated foods are those that have been exposed to radiation. Genetically modified organisms, or GMOs, are created using biological engineering techniques.
The term "natural", often used interchangeably to mean "organic," is frequently used. However, natural does not necessarily mean organic. Some products labeled "natural" may also contain synthetic ingredients.
Organic produce is usually more nutritious that conventional produce. This is because organic soil contains fewer toxic chemicals and pesticides. Organic farmers are free from artificial fertilizers and pesticides.

How To
What happens to your body when you switch to organic products?
Organic products are free from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, and genetic manipulation. They are free-range and come from clean water sources. The term "organic" means they do not contain any chemicals or additives. This product was produced by nature and therefore contains no harmful substances.
Natural refers to the way food was grown. It is usually used to describe foods that haven't been processed into their final form (e.g., fruits). Natural foods are often fresher than others because they haven't been treated with heat, radiation, or chemical preservatives. However, some people believe natural doesn't necessarily mean healthy. Experts aren't sure if there is much to be different between organic and traditional foods. Both types are tested for safety as well as quality. Organic produce is less likely to contain pesticide residues and pollutants than conventionally grown produce.
In general, most grocery stores now offer organic options. You can find organic meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood at your local market. Some companies sell only organic products; others have separate sections for them. You should look for USDA Certified Organic, Non GMO Project Verified (Biodynamic Association Certified), Rainforest Alliance Certified, and other certifications.
You should avoid eating these items if you are pregnant or nursing. Unborn babies and infants can be affected by pesticides.
