However, younger generations are leading the charge when choosing organic food. Millennials are twice more likely to purchase organic food than baby boomers. Young adults aged below 35 account for 25%.

Organic produce is vital for our health. Organic produce is the best way to eat healthy foods. It's better for us and more sustainable because it doesn’t depend on pesticides or fertilizers.

  1. Buy bulk food at wholesale clubs. Sams Club and Costco both offer great options for buying bulk foods like pork chops and chicken breasts. These stores often offer discounts on large quantities of meat, up to 50 pounds, if you are lucky enough to be near one. This ensures that meat is not wasted. You can also freeze the meat if you buy it bulk.
  2. Shop around online - Tons of websites sell meat at discounted prices. Amazon has Prime Pantry, a weekly sale that offers free shipping for orders over $35. There are discounts on roasts, ground beef and lamb steaks as well as pork loins. It's simple to visit their website to view the latest offerings at different times.
  3. Local farmers will usually be cheaper than big-box retailers since they don't pay large fees to stock their shelves. Plus, they know exactly what their animals ate and drank, so they know exactly what's inside their bodies.
